We Can Be More
(Now part of the Girls Up Front campaign)

December 2015 to March 2016

We Can Be More, a project that aimed to bring awareness to the value of Women's History and in turn inspire young girls’ futures.

A series of workshops were held on different women from history including Qin Liangyu a warrior from the Chinese Ming Dynasty in the 16th Century and Irena Sendler who saved countless Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II.

During the workshops, we discussed issues within the curriculum, society and personal reflections. The project focused on inquiry and discovery that provoked thought and action. We Can Be More concluded in a live art exhibition that followed the journey of the workshop process.
